second piano recital for Madi and Mikayla with Chrissy Horton as their teacher.
Mikayla played well for being fairiy new to piano and for never practicing.
Madi who is a natural and has been playing for much longer sounded beautiful. She played a song from Twilight and there were lots of oohs and ahhhs from the audience.

So I have just picked a post. I loved reading all your posts. The This is the Place field trip looked awesome. I have only been there once and it was before all the fun stuff was completed. We need to go back.
I love German Pancakes. Ruth calls them Hootinannies or something like that and we only ever eat them at her house - they are good.

P.S. I meant to comment on this post too! Twilight lover here - I think it is awesome that Madi played a song from Twilight for her recital. I only have a boy who plays the piano now (who lives here anyway) and he wants nothing to do with Twilight - hee hee.

Amanda was reading this post with me, and was interested in the twlight songs. Which ones did Madi play? I have a deal with the kids. No lessons this summer, BUT they have to practice something on their own in exchange. Twlight I think she could get into.
