When I tell my kids to come home for lunch I know that I need to cook for six not three. I enjoy their friends coming too so it is fun to make food for all of them. Fun memories for my kids.
Hey! I recognize those chairs! Glad you still have them. That was a lot of work sanding and staining those things! It makes me happy thinking of your family all around that table. Hope you girls are loving their senior year.
I totally remember taking friends home with me at lunch! I didn't always show my appreciation then but years later I am grateful for the time my mother took out of her day (I was oldest of 6 kids) to make some amazing meals for me and my friends.
It is still one of those memories that comes to mind when I think about how my mother showed her love for me.
